Even though there are vegetables in the soup diet such as cabbage and celery there isn’t enough nutrition in it for you to do very well. There are plenty of variations though that have even resulted in some people gaining weight, not unlike the <a title="low carb diet" href="http://vitalseniors.com/senior-health/diet/low-carb-diet-restrictions.html" target="_blank">low carb diet</a>.</p>
<p>This isn’t a type of individual eating plan though. You have to consume the soup all week long. You can eat all you want so you don’t have to worry about being hungry. However, <em>you will quickly get tired of it meal after meal within a couple of days.</em><br />
You can add some items though. For example with day one you can eat fruits other than bananas. The second day you can eat all the vegetables you want. Day three you get a combination of the two of them. It isn’t until day five when you can get some meat added in there!</p>
